Developing human potential
and relationships into results. What’s the
change I am trying to cause? I am dedicated to working with individuals and teams in helping them to obtain much bigger, quicker and richer results in their working lives and for their organisations, through their own real personal development and through growing their relationships. I am passionate about increasing my clients’ sense of self – awareness, capability and confidence. “I
want to do with you what the spring does with the cherry tree” Pablo Neruda What’s the
mindset and attitude with which I approach my work? As my clients…… …I approach you with a genuine and fundamental belief in the phenomenal power of you! I see you, I honour you in the place you are now and I strive to fully understand you. I am fully behind you in supporting and challenging you to achieve everything you genuinely strive for. I believe in the possibility that you can do everything you dream you can! …I only want to be here when I am needed, and I don’t want to be here when I am not. I strive to towards not being needed as soon as possible. …Everything that plays out for you (and for me while I am working with you) in some way reflects the system you are operating in and therefore provides us with really useful information about your underlying intentions and the impact that you have. …In this
moment there is a gift – a possibility of real …The results you aim for – those which hold real meaning for you – are critically important in our work. They drive your direction, your learning, your growth and your sense of achievement. …I only work with you! “It
doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache
for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.” What will
you experience when you come into contact with me? I hope you will
experience: ·
explicit, robust ways and models of thinking ·
real contact through a strong relationship ·
the power of non-judgmental noticing and deep enquiry ·
kindness, gentleness and yet significant challenge to your
assumptions and judgments ·
energy, ·
a sharing of myself and an obvious integrity ·
a lightness of hold – a coming and going as I am
needed. “You
sing your values.” “When you work with love you bind yourself to yourself, and to one another, and to God.” Kahlil Gibran Where will
you find me? You will find me where you
have opportunities you are not grasping or issues you are stuck in; where you
know you need to be different from what you are at the moment. I hope you will find me only where I am
clearly needed – at all levels in many different organisations. And while I work with many people, when I
am working with you, I hope you will only find me working with you. Where
won’t you find me? I do not want to be where
I am not needed – and I do not want to work where someone else can do it
better! I also do not want to work
with your boss. Here is a poem which describes how I most
want to be in my work: I don't do
anything. I am. Only one
little part of our whole picture - equally important as every other little
part. No
more...and no less. Available to
those with whom I come into contact To use when
they want or need to As a safe challenge to their assumptions and perceptions - without judgment As a clear mirror to their
behaviour and attitudes in developing their self awareness As a route to thinking from the
perspective of others in developing and improving their
relationships As a source of energy and
love in developing their self-confidence and trust in their abilities and
instincts To move on from without pain
and come back to without recrimination Without needing to be
recognised or appreciated Without being judged or
constrained or given any further responsibility. With many thanks to my
colleagues at Relume who supported me
in developing this signature. |
